Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to the family of South London. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She was a student of acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). The credits she has in her theatre work comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was then cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. In May 2013 that she would leave the series after making an appearance in the very first season of the third. Between 2014 and 2016she appeared in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers -Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. At the age of two, she started Baby Ballet and fell in with. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. Ashley was awarded the top soloist award at every major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just the few.
