Leighton Meester, an American singer, model, actor and musician, is an multi-talented artist. The actress is well-known for her role as 'Blair Waldorf' in the popular television show 'Gossip Girls.' Leighton Meester began her career working in the business as an infant. She appeared on a stage in her hometown in a production of the 'Wizard of Oz', which led to her interest in acting. Her first job was as a model and in commercials. Through her modeling projects, she has been a part of major brands like 'Herbal Essences,' 'Vera Wang,' Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren.'
